Vendors Information

Silverwoods valuers conduct a free, no obligation appraisal service at their sale room every Monday from 9am to 2pm (except Bank Holidays).  This is chiefly aimed at vendors of antiques and collectables for entry into our bi-monthly catalogue sales.  All items are inspected and appraised, estimates and reserves discussed and advice given as to which sale your items should be forward into (some items may be more suitable for the weekly general sale).

Reserve prices will only be applied to a lot on specific instruction of the vendor who must speak to the Auctioneer.  This reserve figure will always be subject to a 10% discretion unless it is a fixed reserve.  Unsold lots which carried reserves are generally not reoffered unless the reserve price is reduced.

If you are unable to attend on a Monday, or if your antiques are too large for you to bring  then please contact us to arrange a convenient appointment.

As our bi-monthly sales are conducted live online, your items are guaranteed to attract the attention of a world wide audience.

The costs are subject to VAT at the current rate.
